IAE-Pedia:Community Portal
From IAE-Pedia
The Mission of the Information Age Education (IAE) organization is to help improve the education of people of all ages throughout the world.
Think about the famous speech by John F. Kennedy (January 20, 1961) in which he said:
- "And so, my fellow Americans: ask not what your country can do for you—ask what you can do for your country.
- My fellow citizens of the world: ask not what America will do for you, but what together we can do for the freedom of man." (John F. Kennedy; 35th President of the United States; 1917-1963.)
Now, think about this in terms of education. Each person is both a learner and a teacher. Each person can make a significant contribution both to his or her own education and to the education of others.
- “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful committed citizens can change the world: indeed; it's the only thing that ever has.” (Margaret Mead; American cultural anthropologist; 1901-1978.)
You, personally, can make a difference. One way to do this is to share some of your insights (knowledge, skill, experience) with others through the Websites of the Information Age Education. Help IAE grow as a community of people who care about improving education for students of all ages located throughout the world.
IAE's newest vehicle for sharing is a free newsletter. (See the left menu.) If you have not already subscribed, consider doing so. And, tell others about this educational resource.
Thanks,
David Moursund
